Avatar Languages is an online language school that uses online tools such as Google Docs, electronic whiteboards and Skype. All lessons are one-to-one (one teacher and one student) and are entirely online. Although it is a virtual school, the teachers and students communicate with each other just like they were both in the same room. Language teaching at Avatar Languages is much more than just using Skype, Google Docs, electronic whiteboards and virtual worlds - teachers also incorporate podcasts, blogs, wikis and Wikipedia into class activities.
